One of my favorite things and one of the deciding factors for moving to Neumo for our property records management was the fact that they are cloud-based solution. That was important to me personally in the event of disaster recovery. That was huge. You know, I think that that’s the best disaster recovery solution just in the sense that a tornado were to strike here or some kind of natural disaster were to strike the courthouse. We can be up and running within hours at an alternate location because those records are within the cloud. They’re entirely replicated within the cloud, and we’re just able to accomplish everything that we need to do to serve the public off-site at a moment’s notice. That was a huge deciding factor.
Thankfully, we’ve never been in a position to experience any type of major disaster or disaster recovery but knowing that that cloud solution is there and can serve that purpose as needed, that is also peace of mind for us in our office as well. If anything were to ever happen, we know that the information is backed up on the cloud. We can immediately access our records and be back up and running in no time.
During COVID, we had plans in place well before it got here. I have a a really top-notch management team, and I have really high expectations, but they rise to it. And we had processes in place so that when it did happen and we did have to close down for a short period of time, that everything was ready. We were ready, and we just we hit the ground running. I mean, people were working from home and able to record those documents electronically.
We never skipped a beat. One of the things that I really like about Neumo is the fact that they’re always developing and continuous improvement all of the time. They’re always coming out with new technology. They’re they’re making their system as robust as it is. They’re finding new solutions and making it even more robust.
